HOW WE'RE HELPING

Peoria County Triad is a not-for-profit (501c3) coalition of Businesses, Law Enforcement and Community  Seniors' groups that bring health, safety and well-being resources to community dwelling seniors throughout Peoria County.  

The goal of Peoria County TRIAD is to promote working relationships between seniors, law enforcement, and civic & business leaders:  to provide educational and training venues which address the crime, health and safety issues that affect our senior citizens and the communities they live in. 

No matter where you live in Peoria county... If you are part of an existing seniors, professional, fraternal or religious group.... OR if you'd like to start a neighborhood seniors' group, we'll be happy to help.

Another way we engage with our seniors is to work with churches, community groups, etc.. to host Neighborhood Coffee Hours. These small events are intended to be monthly gatherings of seniors (and their neighbors) that encourage everyone to share the good, the bad, and the ugly with community leaders, law enforcement representatives, and the Triad Membership.  The more we all meet and communicate, the more we can do!

One of our most powerful methods of getting information directly to seniors AND their neighbors is via our "Let's Talk" TRIAD Speakers' Bureau.

 Our members bring their wide-ranging expertise in 30-minute talks designed to provide real-world problems and solutions that seniors frequently encounter.
